Taste of the sea and plants

The theme of the prevention and spread of microplastics in the oceans, and recycling them, is a great message that many exhibitors offer to the most responsible companies.

The backpacks, computer cases and bags from the Ocean Bags collection designed by Demi Design Milano and proposed by Sipec are made of RPET and OceanCycle certified. The items in the Utopic line are made entirely from recycled cotton and polyester. Together, they create a fabric that combines the best performance from the features of both: breathability and strength.

The backpacks in the Chili line from Premium Square are also made with plastic recovered from the oceans, as well as featuring a USB socket for charging electronic devices.

Staying on the subject of recycling, G-Kappa uses waste from processing to give materials a new lease of life and status as folders and time discs: sturdy items that can be used for a long time.

Get Impressed too promotes the circular economy with its Rebottled line, which includes cups and carafes, created by recycling wine bottles. The tube-shaped RPET packs (called Tubes, logically enough) are also 100% recyclable, designed to hold edible gifts like wine, tea, cocktails, spices and oils. The tubes can be combined to create original personalised gift sets.

Even the doormats are completely compostable, like the coconut ones with latex base proposed by Floormad (they can of course be customised). PadsWorld too aims to reduce environmental impact through an offering made of recycled and recyclable materials, and with an enzymatic additive that aids biodegradation. Through this procedure, the company creates a wide selection of products such as, for example, glasses, cups and pen holders.

There’s also a great focus on the issue of durability, offering products characterised by a long life cycle, like clothing from the Kustom Kit line proposed by Cotton Classics. To ensure long life, the company adopts specific measures like reinforcing the areas most subject to wear.
