Textiles: promotion is in fashion

The most attractive division of the promotional sector (the survey that PTE ran with Promotion Magazine again this year sees textile clothing head up preferences within the market) certainly warrants exploration, due to the wealth of brands and products presented at PTE, all characterised by the quality and design of the fashion products.

Innova came to the exhibition with various innovations adopted from the retail sector. Produkt by Jack&Jones is undoubtedly one of the most important in the InnovativeWear 2024 catalogue, with the bestsellers in stores, made “blank” for the promotional channel by eliminating the label. They are all made of organic cotton and recycled polyester. Another new development is the appearance of the Californian brand Next Level Apparel in the catalogue, featuring items with a very soft feel. Also from the States, Bella&Canvas proposes a design that evokes the 1990s. We would also highlight the Heavy&Over line with T-shirts and sweatshirts (230 g and 400 g respectively) for large sizes and generous weights. The Vesti brand didn’t fail to put in an appearance, at the Innova stand with sweatshirts featuring a “diagonal” weave that allows them to also be used inside out and with a line of jacquard jumpers, produced even starting from 100 items.

The offering from ActionWear (the Camac Arti Grafiche brand for distributing the most important brands in the promotional, sports, corporate, work, merchandising, private label and accessories clothing sectors) is also very ample. It took Jerzees to PTE, an Italian exclusive, with T-shirts and sweatshirts designed for Gen Z. The R’n’R line too is designed for young people, featuring a colour spot pattern on both the Ynez 100% cotton genderless T-shirts, with V neck and double stitching on the sleeves and bottom, and the Patos model sweatshirts, the Partida pants and the Cancun (shorts) and Sedona (sports skirt) technical clothing, both with integrated leg warmer briefs.

Makito too introduces fashion patterns for the technical segment to its more traditional ranges, like the Tecnic Kassar T-shirt made of 135 g RPET polyester or the Tecnic Tingyi with an almost optical design.

The Roly-branded polo shirts proposed by PF Concept combine style and functionality. The reinforced seam covers at the neck ensure strength and durability, while the 1x1 ribbed cuffs and collar lend a touch of elegance and a comfortable fit. They are versatile items that can adapt to both casual and more formal settings, ensuring comfort and style at the same time. The side slits add a modern touch and greater freedom of movement to the design.

Solo, with the Sol’s brand, proposes T-shirts made with 100% organically farmed cotton. Not only does this choice contribute to sustainability, it also ensures a high-quality fabric that’s soft and comfortable. The ribbed crew neck and inner collar provide an elegant but robust final touch to the clothing. These details enhance the T-shirts’ comfort and durability. The cotton used is also pre-treated specifically for digital printing, ensuring an optimal surface for customisation with high-definition graphics and vibrant colours.

The hooded and zipped unisex sweatshirts from the Utopic brand by Sipec feature a modern, slim silhouette and are made entirely from 100% recycled fabric. The soft fleece interior offers comfort and warmth, to guarantee an enveloping sensation. The double-layered hood is embellished with metal eyelets and drawstring with metal tip. The large kangaroo pocket provides a large, practical extra space. The ribbed cuffs and bottom hem contribute to the sweatshirt’s comfortable fit.

The fashion effect also spills over into the workwear line. Sei Due Sei’s JRC brand attended with a catalogue dedicated to new products for 2024. Among these, we would highlight the Monterosa Heavy waterproof three-layer soft shell vest, with zipped chest pocket featuring reflective taping and fabric to protect the chin; the Canazei Heavy 3-layer soft-shell, waterproof and breathable padded jacket with detachable sleeves; the soft and shiny Berlin jackets with water-repellent treatments, in “man”, “boy” and “lady” versions.

Get Impressed too attended with a line designed to meet the needs of professionals: Horizon is appreciated due to its all-Italian design and manufacturing quality. The collection is certified category-1 personal protective equipment and the factory in Bangladesh has also obtained the SMETA 4-Pillars certification from Sedex, confirming its high standards in the areas of work, health, safety, the environment and business ethics.
