Satisfaction for a long-awaited restart, with knowledgeable users showing interest in the ideas proposed at the Special Edition of PTE. An appointment that was more contained due to its very nature of "special event", but at the same time dynamic and effective for business. Those who participated for the first time were positively surprised, while for others it represented the opportunity to finally premiere their new products in presence. Let's discover together the novelties introduced by Print Solution and Trotec.

Callegari (Print Solution): PTE marks the start of a new and successful season

At the Special Edition of PTE we met Fabio Callegari, owner of Print Solution, who expressed his enthusiasm after his first participation. «We were curious to see the number of people, customers and potential buyers in attendance. On the whole - he explains - we were satisfied both in terms of number of contacts and in terms of quality of the contacts made. Let's hope this is the start of a new and successful season».

For this Special Edition, Print Solution decided to bring three printing and customization solutions related to the 'containers' sector, such as boxes, paper bags, plastic bags, food boxes, plus a digital solution for printing and customizing single-dose sachets for shampoo and creams, a new product that was presented in Italy for the first time.

«PTE marks the beginning of an intense period - he continued - as we will participate to four fairs in two months. We want to give a signal of restart, we are positive and proactive and we believe that it will also be an interesting end of the year due to a series of simplifications linked to taxes and industry 4.0 and also taking into account the innovations we are presenting to the market through the fairs. The food market is responding very well in terms of quality and quantity, with a wide range of accessories. In addition - he concludes - we pay attention to sustainability by adopting non-toxic materials and a printing solution that uses water-based, odourless inks, suitable for the world of food. We presented a solution which is the first of a series of innovations that will be showcased next year».

Trotec brings to PTE a software that redefines laser working

Trotec brought to the Special Edition of PTE the Rubylaser laser software that is going to redefine the way of working with laser systems. It supports the user from the initial idea to the finished product and offers added value for engravers, printers, companies and schools. The platform guarantees a profitable processing of online orders and, in addition to local use, for the first time it will allow users to employ a connected, web-based and fully digital configuration. «In the future laser machines will be fully digitized», says Andreas Penz, Managing Director of Trotec Laser GmbH.

«For years, the Trotec team has been working on a new generation of software. The software’s scalable architecture was developed from scratch. Now customer requests can be fulfilled much faster. With Ruby we are once again setting new standards. Our clients will have benefits from day one and will be able to keep up with the digital change of our time so as to be ready for the future».

Ruby allows direct import of files such as pdf, svg, png, ai, and connects all laser machines in a single network, whether local or remote. In this way, jobs can be distributed from multiple PCs or Macs to multiple machines. Jobs are uploaded to the integrated memory of the laser machine and processed without an additional PC. Thanks to the workflow, jobs can be prepared by one user and carried out by another, anytime and anywhere, in the office, at home or in the workshop. With this integrated, partitioned workflow, Trotec is breaking new ground in the world of user management.
