Ready to print!

State-of-the-art machinery and technology, sometimes even combined, now enable printing and labelling effects on a vast range of surfaces that were unthinkable not long ago, from embroidery to metal. At PTE, the industry is on display: we’re giving you a preview of the latest from some exhibitors

It's easy to say print.

Embroidery. Embossing. Sublimation. Digital screen printing or printing with DTF, DTG, Co2 laser, thermo-transfer or direct UV technologies.

Going into detail on the individual types of printing listed would be like bringing water to a well. That is to say, it would be unnecessary, if not futile.

So let's pause to reflect on the latest and most exceptional ideas that will be presented at PTE from the 9th to the 11th of March.

Errelle focuses on Mutoh's new printer for DTF printing for the garment market, which can guarantee products that will withstand over 50 washes. Another advantage of this process is being able to print on almost any type of fabric: from polyester and rayon to cotton, silk and leather, and even stiff materials.

Another exciting addition is the Xled UV 6090 Pro printer with new DTF UV printing materials, allowing you to transfer CMYK or hexachrome UV inks, plus white and gloss on special materials and shapes not suitable for direct UV ink printing.

Another trump card Errelle is playing at PTE 2022 is the Signracer UV HD range, which the company is the exclusive distributor of for the Italian market: its range extends to material printing, i.e., the possibility of creating texture prints that simulate a real surface on traditional media, with 3D effects that make the prints come alive, even to the touch. That means it becomes easy to reproduce the grain of an oak panel on an aluminium composite sheet or simulate the effect of birch bark on wallpaper.

Since promotional printing is not only synonymous with textiles and embroidery, but also with personalised engravings on hard materials such as plastics and metals, PTE’s exhibitors also include specialists like Lasermake, whose catalogue features Co2 laser engraving and cutting machines compatible with CCD cameras sensitive to registration marks traced on the piece to be trimmed. The most reliable guarantee for extremely precise work.

The greater the spectrum of printing techniques mastered by a company, the more their customer base can grow. Up to now, a good 3,000 people have turned to Gian, specialised in marketing equipment and materials from brands including Epson, Transmatic, Sth and Chromalux for personalising items ranging from textiles to ceramics, wood and aluminium.

Continuous and steady research has also brought Awservice to the forefront of innovative technologies, particularly in digital printing, making it a benchmark for meeting the personalisation needs of large companies and individuals alike, from graphic artists to marketing and apparel professionals as well as stationery specialists, print shops and digital reproduction and photography centres.

Versatility is also Embroidery Service's strong point, which, drawing inspiration from the fashion industry, focuses on merging methods: this is how services like sublimation combined with embroidery take shape, enabling a thousand-shade texture to be transferred to white yarn, expanding the range of colours that can be reproduced on clothing and accessories exponentially. Just as spectacular are the glitter and rhinestone effects Embroidery Service achieves by applying them to screen prints enhanced with vinyl inserts.

Fascinating results are also achieved by Market Screentypographic by combining graphic art and modern screen printing: using the FM and AM screen on the same graphic and in the same Goccopro frame (exclusively represented by MST in Italy) produces special tactile and chromatic effects using a single print frame and relief for the graphically selected areas.

For printing 4.0 companies, technological expertise goes hand in hand with quality customer services, from after-sales support to training (key for guiding innovation), not to mention the same pricing policies.

Realisaprint.it is an online printing house reserved exclusively for resellers, i.e., graphic artists and marketing professionals approved by a dedicated operator. Following this rigorous approach allows Realisaprint.it to offer its B2B customers a whole host of services: free shipments all over Italy and, where requested, white label products, making it possible to send printed products directly to retailers’ customers which, as of recently, also includes apparel and personalised packaging. A loyalty scheme is also incorporated into their services featuring discounts, access to logo services on packaging and, more importantly, high-quality products at highly competitive prices. On this basis, if Realisaprint.it customers find the same product at a lower price from a competitor, they reduce the price by a further 5%.
