Versatility and performance

If the gadget market is constantly asking for new products capable of impressing customers and responding quickly to large orders, machinery suppliers are responding with solutions suitable for a broad spectrum of materials and shapes and high-performance equipment

Let's start with the materials from which promotional products are made. The increasing use of green materials - such as wood, faux leather, leather, cork, bamboo or other natural fibres - requires suitable equipment, which several manufacturers presented at PTE 2023. Systems using Co2 for cutting and engraving, such as the one brought to the fair by Lasermake, are today a great success because they can work on any organic and non-organic material: the galvanometric Co2 laser marking and engraving machine Lm-Rfco2 30w operates on a very wide range of substrates and has a standard working area of 200 x 200 mm (but other sizes are available on request). Equipped with a range of standard accessories, such as the laser pointer, the software and the PC monitor, which make flat work easy and precise, it can also process cylindrical objects thanks to the optional rotary device. Specific equipment for cylindrical objects, such as trendy water bottles, or even conical ones, include the new UV-led printer by Modico Graphics, suitable for a variety of materials (ceramic, glass, aluminium, paper), with very high level shades and gradients without clichés (print resolution up to 1200 x 900 dpi). The production speed of the Rev 360 T is really impressive: 30 seconds per piece, for a maximum of 60,000 pieces per day. The printer can also be integrated with an automatic loading system, connected to a software for the serial creation of unique pieces, one after the other.

For large runs of customized mugs using the sublimation technique Gi-An proposed the new Mug15 heat press, a fully automated system capable of producing up to 257 units per hour. The machine is equipped with a touchscreen display for project set-up, 8 stations to heat the cups before moving on to dye-sublimation printing and then into the cooling area, all controlled by a robotic arm that sorts the job at the correct time.

For those who want to propose unusual shapes, Bitfactory with its Maitech brand introduced three models of a hot wire cutting machine that manufactures gadgets, 3D lettering, furniture and decorative elements from polystyrene, polyethylene or polystyrene sheets. For simple machining operations, a more compact version is offered: the Opale model, with a 50x50cm cutting area, but there are also Apatite and Biolite versions suitable for more demanding machining operations (100x50cm and 130x100cm, respectively), and further measurements can be requested from the company's in-house workshop. Made-in-Italy production with certification, warranty and technical staff available for pre- and after-sales assistance.
