Promotion victim

Like those of the fashion industry, companies in the promotional textile sector have successfully adapted to changing trends, now increasingly marked by the hybridisation of work and private life, elegance and functionality. PTE 2025 will host a range of these, which we will preview here

Judging by the names of the 19 exhibitors specialised in promotional textiles, it is safe to say that the new edition of PTE – Promotion Trade Exhibition will have more than a touch of fashion show vibes. In fact, a fashion show will be held in the lounge of the exhibition, for which several brands have already signed up.

The reference to the world of fashion is entirely legitimate. For years now the quality of the materials, designs and finishes of the garments and accessories offered by promotional specialists has been so high that it has caught the attention of the giants of the haute couture world, leading to increasingly frequent collaborations and “crossovers”.

And you only have to look at the range of exhibitors due to attend the exhibition to realise that the boundaries between the two worlds have now become fluid. One example is Artar Textile: an Istanbul-based company which, since its foundation in 1994, has curated corporate clothing for brands with a very high identity, especially those in the racing world (Alfa Romeo, Ducati, Aprilia...). Whether it’s biker jackets or overalls, all the items in the Artar catalogue share a common trait: functional elegance. A refined formal minimalism (“less is more”) often coexists with a touch of glam provided by embroidery, prints, or other applications.

The challenge faced by Solo Group with its Neoblu collection is instead to create workwear that does not look like workwear, inspired by the observation that the two spheres of professional and private life are also increasingly embracing hybridisation. At PTE 2025 a new line for kitchen staff will be presented, a successful combination of practicality and refinement developed by the brand’s Parisian style office.

Breathable, stretchy, ultralight fabrics combined with attention to detail and fashioned in a contemporary design are the hallmarks of Yacht, the flagship line of the James Ross Collection (JRC), a brand of Sei Due Sei. The new products for 2025 to be presented at the exhibition include the Saint Tropez polo shirt, the Capri pants and the Rhode Island jacket, all no label, available for both men and women in a range of colours.

The Spanish brand Valento will show its new work and outdoor garments such as the Stardust windproof jacket, certified as a personal protective device thanks to its high visibility at night, or the “3 in 1” Avenue parka, with removable fleece interior, wearable as a separate garment. In addition to quality, versatility and safety, Valento leverages the immediate availability of its wide selection of clothing (over 500 styles), made possible by a permanent stock of over 40 million garments.

The core business of the Polish brand Headwear Professionals is headwear, in particular “beanies” and baseball caps: at PTE 2025 it will present the new sample kit, allowing buyers and other visitors to experience the variety of models in its range and discover all the possibilities of decoration, from embroidery to printing, and the most advanced customisation techniques. You’d be surprised at how much space is available on a hat—if you are a true master of your craft…
